Today I’m working (I’m on spring break, there is no working!) enjoying a pretty leisurely spring break day and if you saw my post earlier today, then you know that I have a to-do list.  I plan my spring break.  How ridiculous is that?  This morning, I started with #1 on the list, which is to start a workout habit.  #2 is to try fruit flavored water, also called spa water.  It’s not bad!  I mean, it’s going to take a little getting used to, but it’s not awful.  Even hubby said it was ok.  Will I drink it every day?  We say see, but at least the water isn’t bland.  It’ll be interesting to try different flavors, but here’s what I started with.

Ingredients:

One mint leaf

4 strawberries halved

2 slices of lemon

water

 

Directions:

Wash your fruit and preferably buy organic.  Slice and put in a jar or small pitcher.  Gently mash with a wooden spoon to squish out some of the juices.  Add water and put in the fridge for at least on hour.  After 24 hours toss out the fruit.  Add ice to drink if you like.  Enjoy!
