We’re at the East Coast Homeschool Basketball Championships this week. So far it’s been great! Our team, the GCAA Stallions has won both of their games today! Can you tell I’m excited?
I’ve been posting score by score on my Facebook and Twitter pages during games and taking pics. Whose crazy idea was that? Mine! Picture me sitting on a folding chair balancing a laptop in my lap, updating Facebook about every 30 seconds, all while taking pictures. And answering texts about the game and cheering for our team! But it was fun!
Tonight it’s late (like 11:30pm), but where are the teams after a late night of bball (our last game started at 9:45pm)? Hanging out in the hallway and the lobby of our hotel! This is where the memories are made. Yes they’ll remember the games, but they’ll remember the fun they had with their friends more.
Agenda for Thursday:
- All coaches game in the am
- Our Varsity boys team play in their first game at 11:30
- Girls play at 2pm (Eastern time).
- Moms’ luncheon
- Girls play again
- Supper
- More games!
